The two-hour guided Spirited Ghost Tour includes a haunting organ concert and historical accounts from Rockford’s Crown Jewel, the Coronado Theatre.

Spirits abound as guides recount supernatural tales collected from theatre staff and contractors over the years. You will experience the Grande Barton Organ, see a short skit with our resident Dracula on the stage, and hear actual accounts of many strange happenings within the theater walls while being taken on a nooks and cranny tour of the theater. LOLTOS, the theater archivist have captured these stories over the years to share with believers and non-believers alike.

Over the years, several of the staff and more than a few visitors have claimed to smell the cigar aroma of the Coronado’s visionary and owner Willard Van Matre, witnessed a shadowy figure float by, or heard a dog barking without cause. Will you?
