Join Rocktown Adventures for their Hump Day Paddle Rockford. These bi-weekly Hump Day Paddles break up the monotony of the work week, providing a low key, social paddling get together.

Details: Launch from downtown Rockford next to the Brewhouse at 6:00 pm, paddle for about an hour or so, and then light up the grill. This is a BYOB event with a fridge on site to keep everything cold. Rocktown provides the food, but side dishes are always welcome. The grill is ready upon return.

Price: $20 with single kayak rental or Stand Up Paddleboard, $30 for tandem kayaks or canoes. Donation at your discretion towards food for those that have their own vessel.

What to bring/wear: Shoes that can get wet. Water repellent shorts and shirt (or something you don’t mind getting drops of water on). Avoid cotton as it retains water and does not insulate. Something cold to drink after the paddle, and a penchant for conversation and laughs.
