Greek Fest 2018 is truly historic, as this year marks the 100th anniversary of Sts. Helen and Constantine Greek Orthodox Church. 

The annual event features authentic Greek foods; souvlaki (shish kabob), gyros, Grecian chicken, pastitso (layered pasta/beef/bechamel), loukaniko (sausage), saganaki (flaming cheese), spanakopita & tyropita (spinach & cheese in phyllo) hot dogs for kids and homemade Grecian pastries including baklava, assorted cookies and baklava ice cream sundaes and frappés along with the popular hot loukoumades and other homemade items such as breads.

The Agora (marketplace) will offer Grecian gifts, cookbooks and icons as well as jewelry, hats, scarves, shirts and much more. Church tours will take place throughout the weekend. 

Saturday at 8:00-11:00pm, the Men of our Times will be on stage. The Hellenic Dance troupe will perform throughout the weekend. Sunday will offer a DJ with Greek/American music and later that day a live Greek band from Chicago. All are invited to dance!

Kids’ activities will be available. For the adults there is the Greek Taverna. And a raffle will be held (need not be present to win).
