Adapting to Climate Change in Our Region

April 16, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

How is climate change affecting natural areas in our region and what can we do about it? In the fall of 2018, the Chicago Wilderness Climate Committee conducted a series of workshops to assess the situation with input from professionals throughout the region. Greg Rajsky participated in each of these workshops, looking at prairie, wetland, and savanna communities to develop a Climate Change Adaptation Plan. Attend this presentation to find out more about the vulnerabilities and resilience inherent in our natural communities.

Greg Rajsky was the naturalist/educator at Severson Dells Nature Center. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Kettle Moraine Land Trust in Walworth County, Wisconsin.

Please RSVP online or by phone.
