Earth Day Celebration: Protect Our Species

April 22, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

All of our plants and animals have value and are part of the web of life. Our lives and theirs are linked together — without them, our own species might not survive.

Land-dwelling wildlife species have declined by 40% since 1970.
Bird populations have been reduced by about 20-25%.
Honey Bees and butterfly populations are dwindling.

We need to do better. That is why Earth Day Network is undertaking a campaign to elevate understanding and foster action to stop the decimation of species around the globe.

Come to learn about the plants and animals who are in our natural habitat and what we can do to help them. Find out more about the gardens, forest, and prairie land on the Womanspace grounds. The evening will be a combination of education with craft stations and ideas of ways to contribute to a healthy Earth at Womanspace or in your backyard.

The evening will conclude with a walk at the labyrinth to honor Mother Earth. This is a FAMILY event for all ages!

Advanced registration is appreciated. Walk-ins welcome.
