A new documentary on the life of rapper Kid Cudi is coming to Amazon Prime. Kid Cudi and Amazon Prime shared the official trailer for the documentary which is titled “A Man Named Scott,” which will explore Cudi’s journey over a decade of creative choices, struggles and breakthroughs, making music that continues to move and empower his millions of fans around the world. The trailer featured Kid Cudi’s interviews, live footage, fan testimonials, creating the “Man on the Moon” album and more.

Says Cudi: “Creating something new and helping people, It’s always been an escape for me and it’s freeing. Everything I make has to help people in some way. How can I make something that calls out to the broken and the lost. I needed to feel something with the music. How Can I push it. How can I give people something that they haven’t heard before. I just had the hard time dealing with the adjustments from being Scott to being Kid Cudi. People look up to me but I am not a happy person. I felt like a fraud. That’s what drove me to escape from reality. I sacrificed the privacy of my life and put my story out there to help others. That’s always been my mission. I’m not done yet.”
