ROCKFORD — Trick-or-treat in person this year at All Hallows’ Eve inside Midway Village Museum’s charming Victorian Village from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

More than 24 village buildings will be specially decorated for Halloween by local community groups, and families can trick-or-treat at each building to receive candy from costumed volunteers. There will also be family-friendly activities including a new pumpkin carving contest (pre-registration is required.) Families are encouraged to dress in costume. Activities are ideal for children of all ages.
