Here’s something fun to do on Memorial Day weekend, head out to Byron Firefighter’s Association 1st Annual Kick-Off to Summer Carnival!

There will be fun food, great games, and new rides from Skinner’s Amusements Carnival “Cadillac of Carnivals” – 110 years. Advanced ride tickets are now on sale thru Thursday, May 27th from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday, May 28th from 8 a.m. until noon. The cost for the advanced tickets is 10 tickets for $20. Tickets will be sold at 123 N. Franklin Street in Byron, Illinois.

If you decide to purchase your ride tickets at the Carnival, they will be $1 per ticket. Rides will require 3 to 5 tickets each. Not only will you have a fun weekend with the family but you’ll also be giving back to the community because all the proceeds will go towards benefiting the Byron Firefighter’s Association.

While you’re at it, grab a meal at one of Byron’s fantastic restaurants or bars then head to the Carnival for some fair food, rides, and games brought to you by Skinners’ Amusements.

Carnival times are Friday, May 28th from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., Saturday, May 29th, from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m., and Sunday, May 30th from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
