Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

    • Beavis & Butt-Head Do America – Electric Boogaloo?: Controversial animated comedy duo Beavis and Butt-head, the brain (dead) children of Mike Judge (Idiocracy, King of the Hill, Silicon Valley, Office Space), are returning for not only a series on Paramount Plus, but also, another movie.  The original series ran from 1993 to 1997.  There was a feature length film titled “Beavis and Butt-head Do America,” in 1996, and there was a brief revival on MTV in 2011 which received, to put it kindly, mixed reviews.  The new show is coming to Paramount-Plus, the streaming service set to launch on March 4th. So far, no word on when the movie will come out, or what it will be called.
    • Shooter’s Tour 2? Adam Sandler has apparenlty “greenlit” a sequel to his 1990’s smash hit “Happy Gilmore” about a hockey player who discovers he has an inhuman gift for golf. Christopher MacDonald, who played Happy’s rival Shooter McGavin, has also said he would be down to make the film. So far, nobody has started work on this project.
    • You Shouldn’t Tease Zombies. They bite. : Last week, we told you about  Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead,” the zombie flick premiering on Netflix on May 21st. Netflix has just released the first teaser for the film, which will star David Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Ella Purnell (Sweetbitter). Watch the trailer below.
