There have been reports of coyotes roaming neighborhoods in the city of Rockford this winter.

According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, coyotes are a normal part of the environment and pose little threats to humans.

To help cut down on the presence of coyotes, City Hall suggests removing food sources like bird food and pet food from your property as well as securing trash. Click below to learn more.
