The 2022 wine tasting fundraiser is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 7 at Prairie Street Brewing Co., 200 Prairie St. This year’s theme is Harry Potter. You’ll get to spend the evening with live owls and other creatures just as you would in the movie. There will also be live music, a few adult games, raffles and a Harry Potter costume contest. Each ticket bought is for one adult to get in the door of the fundraiser, and that will include your wine samplings and hors d’oeuvres. “This money goes into our general operating fund to help us care for up to 1,000 animal intake a year. It helps pay the $900 month electric, the $1,000 plus vet bills a month, and the $750 a month feeder mice budget. This is just to name a few monthly costs.
