This week’s Star Student is Aleena! She is a 16 yr. old sophomore at Belvidere North High School! Her favorite subject is Math. Her favorite snack is Girl Scouts Thin Mints. When she grows up, she wants to be a Nurse!

Her biggest accomplishment so far is surviving an accident that could’ve killed her, enduring 8 surgeries and being able to finally walk on her own after a year and a half of surgeries and physical therapy.
