New iPhone Feature Will Help You Combat Motion Sickness

One of the few things that might actually make you put down your phone: riding in a car. You know how looking at your phone or reading can make you feel queasy? Well, Apple has just unveiled a cool new feature to help with that!

Introducing “Vehicle Motion Cues.” It’s a pretty simple idea: animated black dots appear around the edges of your iPhone or iPad screen and move in sync with your vehicle.

Apple says this should help because “motion sickness is commonly caused by a sensory conflict between what a person sees and what they feel.” Basically, when your eyes and your body aren’t on the same page, your stomach gets all confused.

The best part? You can easily turn this feature on and off in the Control Center. So next time you’re on a road trip, give it a try and see if it helps you stay in the zone without feeling sick!
