Colors Of Hope a Musical

March 22, 2019 @ 7:00 am - March 24, 2019 @ 2:00 pm

Colors of Hope is a production of Gateway Arts. Gateway owner Andrew Mahan has written and composed this honest story. Andrew is a published childrenʼs author and his book “The Forgotten Things” is touching young and old. Proceeds from Colors of Hope will be Benefiting St. Judes Childrenʼs research hospital.

Colors of Hope presents multiple points of view of a life with cancer, from the personal view of the patient to the direct affect on family; spouses, significant others, children, and close friends. The show also gives a unique glimpse into the effect this disease has on the doctors and nurses who are there through each patient’s battle. The show brings light to the fact that cancer sees no color, age, gender, sexual orientation, wealth, or position.

Audiences will laugh as patients and family find much needed humor in their journey. They will smile with warm hearts as the patients give love a chance again despite the “expiration date” they feel they wear. Then there are the tears; inevitable and necessary, that will allow the audience to feel deeply and honestly right along with the characters on stage. Colors of Hope is honest and holds nothing back, but every path through each individual story leads back to one thing; Hope.

Colors of Hope is rated PG-13 for strong language and heavy emotional content.
