ROCKFORD — A star-studded musical about Taco Bell’s Mexican pizza is coming to TikTok, and a Grammy-winning Rockford native has a hand in bringing it to life.

Taco Bell is calling it an “off-off Broadway” musical, and it’s starring rapper and songwriter Doja Cat and country icon Dolly Parton. The music will be written by Grammy-winning songwriting duo Abigail Barlow and Rockford native Emily Bear. They won a Grammy last month for another smash hit that started on TikTok, “The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical.”
