ROCKFORD — After two years of cancellations due to the pandemic, we’ll have to wait just a little bit longer to enjoy Rockford’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Due to the cold weather, Rockford’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade was postponed from last Saturday, March 12th to this Saturday, March 19th.

“For caution, because of the wind chill, we can’t die the river green,” Danny McDade from the Irish Marching Society said in an interview with Steve Summers from 95.3 The Bull.

The St. Patrick’s Day parade will kick off at 3 p.m in downtown Rockford, will head north on 7th St LEFT along State Street, RIGHT on Madison St and stops at the Prairie Street Brewhouse.
