    WOODSTOCK — The Hooved Animal Humane Society is a nonprofit organization founded in 1971 to promote humane treatment horses, pigs, sheep and other animals with hooves.

    The nonprofit rescues and rehabilitates any hooved animal. It also works to prevent abuse and neglect through education, legislation and legal action when necessary.

    One of the keys to the success of HAHS is their volunteers and supporters who provide either monetary donations or donate goods to help them provide physical rehabilitation to animals that have endured severe neglect and abuse.
