Yesterday’s Give DeKalb County raised over $1.4 Million for local nonprofit organizations.

Yesterday, May 6, 2021, was a day of giving. For 24 hours, GiveDeKalbCounty.org opened their website to both individual donations to participating nonprofits and also to a Bonus Pool that would contribute to all organizations.

The outcome is nothing short of amazing. Over $1.4 Million was raised (AND COUNTING!) for 130 local nonprofit organizations. There were 3,000 donors yesterday and even more money is being added to the grand total as I write this.

Mail-in donations were being accepted before yesterday’s online donation drive and some of those donations are still trickling in to boost the grand total even more.

These are the Top 10 nonprofits that raised the most money yesterday. You can see all grand totals HERE.
