Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

    • But How Many Get Their Heads Bitten Off?: In the “Why do they need to do this?” category today, there is apparently a Peeps movie in the works. Yes, a movie based on the sugar coated marshmallow Easter treats called “Peeps.” Nobody asked for it, but it is being made by Wonder Street, and is being described as a “Trolls” meets “Smurfs” project. Kids will like it, I guess.
    • Not Everything Is Shady: Guillermo Del Toro can celebrate the win of his lawsuit over the Oscar-winning film “The Shape Of Water”. Del Toro was accused by the son of Paul Zindel of using  Zindel’s work, “Let Me Hear You Whisper” as the basis for the movie. The lawsuit was dismissed, and Lindel’s son has since admitted that the similarities are coincidental.
    • And in Tech News: If you’re using WhatsApp you may want to be careful because scammers have you on their radar. If you get a text with an activation code that you didn’t ask for, ignore it and delete it. Then ignore and delete the text from one of your contacts saying that they sent you the code by accident. Don’t do anything with those texts and you’ll be fine.
