The Snow Park at Alpine Hills in Rockford will be opening for the 2020-2021 winter season. The Snow Park was closed last season because of budget cuts.

Due to the pandemic closing indoor facilities around the Rockford Park District this year, those resources can now be used to re-open the Snow Park. The Rockford Park District will also be opening a few other outdoor centers at Lockwood Park and Atwood Park for winter activities.
