Lifescape along with Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) are proud to announce the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) has returned to Boone and Winnebago Counties.

    RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. You can use the skills and talents you’ve learned over the years or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within your community.

    They will be working with any individuals 55+ in helping finding volunteer opportunities in Boone and Winnebago counties in the focus areas of : Disaster Services, Environmental Stewardship & Healthy Futures.

    They will be partnering with the following Organizations:

    • The American Red Cross
    • Boone County Conservation District
    • Forest Preserves of Winnebago County
    • Greater Rockford Pantry Coalition
    • Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful
    • Northern Illinois Diabetes Coalition
    • Northwestern Illinois Area on Aging
    • Rockford Rescue Mission
    • United Way of Rock River Valley
    • …And Many More!

    RSVP volunteers choose how, where and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week.
