Have you every had an ‘almost’ run in with a celebrity? I almost met the Jonas Brothers yesterday.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I almost met a celebrity. This reminds me a lot like the time Ed Sheeran was in Rockford and I totally missed it. Don’t believe me?
It was about four years ago. He had a string of concerts in Tinley Park and was spotted all over Rockford the night before. He was first seen checking out a movie in the entertainment section of Target on E. State. Then, he was on a razor scooter on the corner of E. State and Perryville. Poor @sarai_guerreroo, she knows how I feel. She wasn’t home when Ed Sheeran was strolling around. Then, he finished his day here at Buffalo Wild Wings.

I knew I should have went to Target.
Welp, as luck would have it, I missed my big opportunity to meet the Jonas Brothers yesterday.
We all know they have a string of shows at the United Center today and tomorrow. Many times, artists will come to town days prior to visit the big city they will be playing in, for rehearsal and whatever else people with a ton of money do.
The Jonas Brothers made their first stop at Soldier Field to play football. It was Nick’s Birthday Party and they all had ‘NJ’ jerseys to celebrate.
Now I don’t live near Soldier Field and obviously I’m not just gunna go strolling in there.
But I do live in a Chicago Suburb, Glen Ellyn to be exact.
Yesterday, The Jonas Brothers were across the street from my house. FOR REAL!
I wondered why there were more minivans on my street than usual. Now I know.
It all started when I was scrolling Facebook on a local Mom’s group. One Mom said there were many teen boys losing their mind near the Villiage Links golf course, swearing they saw The JoBros. She didn’t believe ’em. But I knew better. I had to investigate.
Sure enough, the Jonas Brothers were at the Golf Course/Restaurant across the street from my house! I could literally throw a golf ball back to the course from my front yard. Go Figure! I see you JoBros… stop over and let’s have a cocktail, k?
